Hello! I am Bella who introduce Korea to you!

Today, I will introduce about the sequence culture of Korea by mixing my thoughts a lot!

This is a unique culture that exists only in Korea, and I personally think negatively!

In Korea, I have learned group life with the textbook ‘the straight and narrow’ since elementary school.

Teach other people to always be considerate and think.

I think teaching group life before personal life is very bad.

Let me briefly introduce about the sequence culture of Korea.

-The choice of words, expressions, and ending words depends on who the other person is.

-Rank is ranked by age

*Normal age order, but may vary depending on the situation.

school: seniors and juniors
jobs:position/ Date of joining the company
families:descent

It is a very vertical mind structure.

In Korea, if you enter school late, you can’t do it if you’re old enough, and you’re a little bit of a difficult junior.

Korea thinks about your age very much and always says ‘How old are you?’

I think they are ranked according to their age.

Even in social life, a position is very important, so if my boss doesn’t get off work, I can’t get off work.

No matter how wrong the boss may say, I can’t argue.

I am very negative about these things.

So, it is very difficult for foreigners to get a job at a Korean company.

So foreigners are having a hard time getting a job at a Korean company. Of course, because they are foreigners, they know what they cannot apply like Koreans, so they look at the situation.

These days, many people are employed by foreign companies because they hate this hierarchy.

And in order to get rid of this vertical culture, big companies call each other English names and do not disclose their positions.

we can see them trying to work horizontally.

What do you think of this Korean hierarchy culture?
