Singer Kim Jae-hwan has successfully begun his career as a solo artist, after the disbandment of Wanna One. He made an appearance in popular TV shows and a music festival.

On June 15 and 16, Kim Jae-hwan performed in Seoul Park Music Festival 2019, held at the Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, fascinating the audience with his concert-like performance.

On the last day of the concert, Kim Jae-hwan came on the stage last and sang tracks of his solo debut mini-album “Another,” released on May 20. He sang “Love You Still,” written and composed by himself, and the lead track “Begin Again.” He also sang IU’s “Through the Night,” Adele’s “Skyfall,” Eric Clapton’s “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” (added with his outstanding electric guitar performance), and Ariana Grande’s “Problem” in live performance.

Although it was the first time Kim Jae-hwan had sang in a festival, his singing voice filled the outdoor performance hall and his witty comments made the audience laugh.

The festival was the talk of the town due to Kim Jae-hwan’s performance as a solo artist and a large number of visitors—35,000 people for the two days.

Kim Jae-hwan is slated to perform on the opening stage of 2019 K-World Fiesta, the largest-ever hallyu festival to be held at the Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, for ten days from August 15 to 24. Kim Jae-hwan has been invited to many other festivals, which proves his popularity.

Kim Jae-hwan is said to be growing into a genuine musician, unlike most idol singers due to his unique vocal talents and outstanding guitar performance.
