Group BTS was ranked 43rd in Forbes’ list of the world’s highest-grossing celebrities
Forbes, American journal of economics released its list of ‘The Celebrity 100-The World’s Highest-Paid Entertainers 2019’ on 10th July.
According to the report, BTS earned $57 million last year, tied for 43rd with actor Bradley Cooper.
It is the highest-ranking in both boy bands and K-pop.
BTS completed the world tour “LOVE YOURSELF” last year and is currently on the stadium tour ” LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF”. No specific revenue was tallied per tour, but the stadium performance earned about $44 million in ticket sales based on six U.S. cities, according to the Billboard tally.
In addition, the documentary films “Burn the Stage: the Movie” and ” BTS World Tour: Love Yourself in Seoul” released last year, earned $18.5 million and $117 million, respectively, excluding Korea.
