The group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Subin, Yeon jun, Beom Gyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai) set a rookie record for the year with first-half album sales.
According to the Gaon Chart(famous Korean music chart), the debut album “Dream Chapter: STAR” released in March by TOMORROW X TOGETHER ranked 12th on the album chart for the first half of the year of 2016, with sales of 186,525 copies. It is the highest performance among rookies that debuted this year.
After the album’s release, TOMORROW X TOGETHER topped iTunes’ “Top Album” chart in 44 countries and regions around the world and ranked 140th on the U.S. Billboard’s main album chart, “Billboard 200,” marking the highest record among debut rookies this year.
Also, it topped the Gaon album chart in March with sales of some 145,000 copies. TOMORROW X TOGETHER is the only rookie to top the Gaon monthly album chart released this year.
In addition, TOMORROW X TOGETHER also re-entered the status of “Global Super Rookie” by achieving its best rookie record of the year in first-half album sales.
Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER is set to appear in Japan’s largest fashion festival, “Kansai Collection 2019 AUTUMN & WINTER,” and “The 29th Tokyo Girls Collection 2019 AUTUMN / WINTER” in August and September.
