BLACKPINK ‘KILL THIS LOVE ‘Ranks 7th in 2019 YouTube MV K-pop singer’s only ‘TOP10’

Group BLACKPINK is the only K-Pop group to be selected as the top 10 most-watched music videos on YouTube this year.

BLACKPINK’s “ Kill This Love ” music video was named the 7th most viewed music video of 2019 released by YouTube site on the 19th (local time).

BLACKPINK is the only K-pop group in the ranking. Billie Eilish’s ‘bad guy’ and Ariana Grande’s ‘7 rings’ music videos ranked 8th and 9th, respectively.

‘Kill This Love’ music video exceeded 200 million views in the shortest period of K-pop group after breaking 100 million views in 62 hours since its release on April 5th. Since then, the number of views has been steadily rising, and now it is 650 million views.

At the time of release, ‘Kill This Love’ was ranked 41st on the Billboard main chart ‘Hot 100’ and 24th on ‘Billboard 200’. On the Billboard Main Chart, K-Pop Group recorded the first and longest period of four consecutive weeks of simultaneous entry. In addition to the billboard, the UK’s ‘Official Single Chart Top 100’, one of the world’s two largest music charts, also entered the chart ranking for five consecutive weeks.

After its debut, BLACKPINK has a total of 18 billion YouTube videos including music videos, choreography videos and music broadcasting contents.

The official YouTube channel subscribers reach 31.4 million and are meeting fans all over the world through YouTube.

BLACKPINK, which is active on the world stage, was selected on the ‘TIME 100 NEXT 2019’ list on the 14th. BLACKPINK has anticipated future activities with lots of pop stars and celebrities such as Camila Cabello and Ezra Miller.

On the 11th, the U.S. awards ceremony ‘E! BLACKPINK’s global influence in the People’s Choice Award won three crowns for The Group of 2019, The Music Video of 2019 and The Concert Tour of 2019. Proved.
