Kim Woo-bin returns in good health at 40th Blue Dragon Film Awards

Actor Kim Woo-bin appeared as a presenter in the short film award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.

Kim Woo-bin received cheers and applause as he walked on the stage, and he bowed and greeted everyone. He began to talk “I’m so nervous because it’s been a long time. Thank you.”

He added “I was not feeling well, but so many people cheered me on and waited & prayed for me so that I could overcome it quickly”

“I have a lot to say, but I’m not the main role today, I will do my best for the given mission.”

Colleagues encouraged his return, who has been battling nasopharyngeal cancer since his diagnosis in May 2017, the star has been on a hiatus during his recovery.

His returning work is known to be director Choi Dong-hoon’s ‘Wiretap’ which was suspended for his health reasons. The film is expected to begin filming in February next year and release in 2021.

Kim Woo-bin’s agency SidusHQ, “Kim Woo-bin recently received a scenario from Director Choi Dong-hoon and is considering it.”

Meanwhile, the Blue Dragon Film Awards was broadcast live on SBS.
