The death of Koohara, a 28-year-old girl group, is expected to end with a simple death.
According to the News on the 26th, Seoul Gangnam Police, which is investigating the death of Koohara, decided not to autopsy the body and turned it over to the family.
An official from the Gangnam Police Station said, “When we put together the survivor’s statement and the situation, we decided not to have an autopsy because there were no criminal charges.” The police will continue to investigate further whether there is a suspicion of killing, and if the singularities are not found, they will close the case.
Koohara was found dead at 6 pm on the 24th. After Koohara returned home at 0:35 am, no one left the house until 6 pm when the housekeeper discovered her body. At Koohara’s home, a handwritten memo containing a pessimism about her identity was found.
The entertainment industry was shocked by the news of Koohara’s sudden death. In particular, the late Sulli (real name Choi Jin-ri, 25), who had been close to Koohara, died on the 14th of last month.
Not only Korean colleagues who had acquainted with the deceased in Koohara but also overseas celebrities have expressed their mourning for Koohara’s news.
Koohara’s funeral, on the other hand, is held in private according to the family’s will. Instead, a separate condolence area was prepared for the fans. The late Koohara’s condolences are available in Gangnam St. Mary’s Hospital Funeral Hall No. 1 until midnight.
