Seokchon Lake, located around the theme park Lotte World in Jamsil, is a man-made lake made from Hangang water.
The area is 217,850 square meters and is known as a cherry blossom spot. In April when the lakeside cherry blossoms are in full bloom, a cherry blossom festival is held and many people from Korea and abroad visit.
Sokchon Lake is composed of two lakes, East Lake and West Lake, with Jamsil Lake Bridge in the middle.
If you want to see the Lotte Tower, you can get a beautiful picture from the direction of East Lake in the morning and West Lake in the afternoon.
After walking for a while, a playground appeared on the left side of the lake.
Here, there is a space where you can sit back and rest, but you can relax while feeling nature just by sitting, and it was a very nice space.
The official name of Sokchon Lake is Songpa Tree Park.
This park was built in 1981. If you walk around for an hour, it’s just right. It was a place that was not particularly interesting before, but now it has become a very nice place as the Republic of Lotte. A harmonious space where nature and humans coexist. Today, it is a park that is loved by many Seoul citizens.
