BTS Opens New Year… ‘Crowd sing-along in Korean’ echoed in Times Square

BTS once again proved its global standing at the Times Square in New York, USA, with gorgeous New Year’s day.

On December 31 (local time) BTS showed the perfect live performance on the New York Times Square stage of ABC’s ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020(Here after New Year’s Rocking Eve).

The US ABC broadcast set up a special outdoor stage in the middle of Times Square, and raised the expectations for the performance by delivering rehearsals of BTS and real-time scenes of millions of people around the world through SNS channels before the broadcast.

The host announced “After a while, we will have a BTS who has fascinated the whole world.

The group will be singing two songs that have gained worldwide popularity.”

BTS performed on Times Square Stairs stage, starting with ‘Make It Right’. Fans were greatly acclaimed for their newly prepared performances for the stairway stages. The members moved to the stage where they passed by the fans gathered at Times Square and continued singing. While moving on stage, they greeted the fans and showed an unperturbed live.

On this stage, the group sang ‘Boy With Luv feat. Halsey’ in a passionate tone. The colorful choreography and the lively atmosphere filled the scene. Fans continued to shout ‘BTS’ and join BTS’s songs in Korean.

In particular, BTS appeared with hosts Post Malone and Sam Hunt to celebrate the New Year with viewers around the world. They hugged together, danced, and enjoyed the joys of the first day of the New Year 2020.

BTS answered about the impression of greeting the New Year at Times Square that “I’m thrilled to join this ceremony together because I’ve seen movies since childhood.” BTS added about how they usually celebrate the Yew Year “We do the same. We eat delicious food and make New Year’s resolution with friends and family together in front of the Christmas tree.”

This year’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve was held in four locations: New York Times Square, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Miami. The event is held annually at the largest venue in the United States and is viewed by up to 25 million Americans. Each year, the last day of the year, December 31, the broadcast begins, and greet the first day of New Year with viewers around the world.
