In the afternoon on January 9, ROSE posted pictures of wild animals such as koalas and kangaroos that were damaged by Australian wildfires, as well as photos of burning Australia.

ROSE shared, “I see this and my heart is torn. Australia is burning and it’s been too long.”

“I fell so sad that people suffering from this fire and millions of beautiful wildlife that are injured and dying.”

ROSE appealed “Australia is where I grew up and I’m sad to see this happen in this beautiful country. I’ll do my best to cheer you up. The singer added a link to support the Australian wildfires, appealing to fans for help.”

According to local media, the wildfire, which has been ongoing since September, has burned 6 million ha, about 100 times the size of Seoul, and estimated that 500 million wild animals have been killed. Australia government is trying its best to extinguish the fire, but is struggling against heat waves and droughts.
