Troye Sivan reveals co-writing in BTS’ new song “Thanks for having me”

Pop star Troye Sivan said that he participated as a co-writer for BTS’ new song.

Troye Sivan said on his official Twitter on July 17 “Very happy to have co-written ‘Louder than bombs’ on BTS’s album! Thanks for having me boyyssssss” and posted “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7” teaser.

On the day BTS released the track list of ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7’, and Troye Sivan is reported that he was one of the songwriters behind ‘Louder than bombs’, the 10th track of a total 15 new songs.

The collaboration between Troye Sivan and BTS is meaningful in that they has shown each other’s interest in music and aspirations for collaboration for many years.

BTS has been recommending Troye Sivan’s music on their official Twitter since their debut, and Troye Sivan also said, asking for a plan to collaborate with BTS in 2018 “I don’t know if it will actually happen, but it will be fun. I want to do it if I can do it.”

In addition to the 10th track in which Troye Sivan participated, the 20th track ‘ON’ where pop star Sia participated thrills fans all around the world.

Meanwhile BTS will release ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7’ simultaneously around the world on February 21 at 6 pm. The title song ‘ON’ will be unveiled for the first time on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ of the US NBC channel that will be broadcast on the 24th (local time).
