Park So-dam’s latest film ‘Fukuoka (director Zhang Lu)’ will be released March 12.

Park So-dam recently appeared in Oscar-winning Best Picture Parasite and her latest film ‘Fukuoka’ features a bizarre journey of two men who had parted because of a woman 28 years ago. Kwon Hae-hyo and Yoon Je-moon played ‘Hae-Hyo’ and ‘Gyemun’ each, who were close in college but then ended their friendship and lost touch. Park Sodam took the role of ‘Somdam’, who could see through the two men.

Zhang Lu said, “I chose Fukuoka as the location for several reasons.” The director added “Fukuoka has a town’s emotion every time he visits because of the invitation of the International Film Festival. However, as the Korean poet Yoon Dong-joo (1917-1945) died at the city and the conflicting experience where the beautiful city felt like a prison is so impressive. It worked as father and daughter of the movie ‘Ode to the Goose’ (2018) also appeared as a Korean-Japanese national in Fukuoka.”
