Mirabeau Chocolat (미라보쇼콜라) is a chocolate cafe located near Gyeongbokgung Palace, making it easy for tourists to stop by and have a nice break after visiting the historical sites nearby.

The owner spent some time studying the art of chocolate making in France and Japan and the name Mirabeau comes from a small city located in South of France.

They offer a large selection of chocolate, such as Chesnut/ Hazelnut or Moka chocolate, which you can carry out or eat while enjoying a nice view of the neighborhood from a table on the second floor.

You can also enjoy one of their chocolate or coffee based drinks, in a cosy atmosphere with some relaxing music playing in the background.

The interior of the cafe is well decorated and you can easily take pretty pictures, especially in front of the window on their second floor.

So why not take a break there after visiting the statue of Amiral Yi Sun-Sin or Gyeongbokgung Palace ?

You can go to the cafe by stopping at Gyeongbokgung Station, go out from exit 2 and then keep walking straight until you see a GS25 on your left. Take a turn on the small street after the corner and the cafe is just here.
