Hyundai’s new Avante will be released in Korea next month.
Hyundai unveiled its semi-medium sedan ‘All New Avante’ teaser image for the first time on November 11.
The All-New Avante is a seventh-generation model that has been progressively and dynamically changed in five years since its launch in 2015.
Avante, which means ‘forward, advance’ in Spanish, is Hyundai’s best selling car that sold more than 13.8 million cars at home and abroad since its launch in 1990.
Hyundai has applied a new platform to the All New Avante to achieve a low weight center and stable design. Based on Hyundai Motor’s design philosophy ‘Sensuous Sportiness’, it completed a bold and futuristic design.
The interior design is also based on the driver-centered interior design layout to realize the sporty sensibility of the exterior.
The driver-centered reinterpretation of the plane’s cockpit balances sportiness and openness with low, wide lines that wrap from the door through the crash pad to the console.
For the first time in Korea, a 10.25-inch full digital cluster and a 10.25-inch AVN (Audio, Video, Navigation) connected panoramic display were applied.
Hyundai will hold the world premiere event to unveil the world’s first All New Avante in Hollywood, Los Angeles, USA on March 18 at 11 am. It will also be broadcast live on Hyundai’s homepage and YouTube channel.
The company will launch an avant-garde design that catches the eye through its domestic launch event early next month.
Lee Sang-yeop, executive director of Hyundai Design Center, said, “The 7th-generation Avante was designed to maximize the bold characters that have been inherited from the 1st-generation model.”
