Korean actor Daniel Dae Kim best known for the television series ‘LOST’ had tested positive for coronavirus. And he spoke out against the xenophobia and Anti-Asian Racism saying that he was infected in NY, USA.
Daniel Dae Kim announced on his Instagram on 20 March “I was diagnosed with COVID-19 yesterday. Looks like I’ll be ok, but I wanted share my journey with you in the hopes that you find it informative or helpful. Hope you all stay safe, calm, and above all, healthy..”
In the video, he also explained that while he was diagnosed with the virus, and has experienced symptoms. The actor said he began feeling ill while returning home on a flight to Hawaii, and later began to experience chest tightness, body aches and a fever. He said he self-isolated since returning, leaving only to go to a drive-through coronavirus testing facility in Honolulu was confirmed.
“I have been isolated from my family at this time. If you are treated without care, you can endanger the lives of millions of people, including loved ones,” said the actor emphasizing the importance of self-isolation.
