The group BTS appeared on a special episode of ‘James Cordon Show’ and shared a message of cheer for fans and viewers around the world.
BTS appeared as the representative of Korea on 30 March (local time) at CBS popular late-night talk show “Home Fest: JAMES CORDEN’S LATE LATE SHOW SPECIAL” (hereinafter referred to as ‘James Cordon Show’), and had a video call with the host, James Corden.
On this day, ‘James Cordon Show’ was shot with a special edition designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 around the globe. James Cordon told them, “I’m glad to see you like this,” and the BTS responded, “We’re happy to see you too.”
Cordon then asked about the situation in Korea, and RM replied, “It seems to be a difficult time for everyone all over the world. But it shows unity, consideration and support for each other.”
About the question “Is there anything you would like to say to fans around the world and to those who are watching at home?” V said in Korean “Are you doing well? I want to see you, ARMY soon.” RM said, “During a time when social distancing is crucial, we’re so grateful we can connect with you from here.”
“It may seem like we’re isolated, but we’re still connected through our shared experiences, our courage and our laughter.”
Cordon asked BTS to sing a song, and Suga introduced “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey).” Subsequently, the members cheered viewers around the world by singing the title song ‘Boy With Luv’ from the mini album ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA’ released in last April in their shared rehearsal space.
Besides BTS, the “James Corden Show” featured live performances at home by Billy Eilish, John Legend, magician David Blaine, Italian vocalist Andrea Bocelli, British pop star Dua Lipa and American actor Ben Platt.
