‘Snowpiercer’ series moves up premiere on 17 May

‘Snowpiercer’, which dramatizes director Bong Joon-ho’s film, will air on TNT on May 17.

According to foreign media such as Deadline on 3 April, ‘Snowpiercer’ series finally decided to shift its first broadcast date, which was originally scheduled for May 31, on May 17 on TNT, two weeks earlier.

” ‘Snowpiercer’ is one of the most anticipated original series of 2020,” said Brett Weights general manager for TNT, TBS, and True TV. “It is extremely important that we keep our promise to our audience which is yearning for thrilling and attractive content. And to that effect, we are moving up its premiere so that fans can enjoy this futuristic series even earlier.”

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic that has rocked the world, and the increase of people staying home and the demand for broadcast contents, the team decided to release the drama earlier than scheduled.

Bong Joon-ho’s film ‘Snowpiercer’ is based on French comics and the drama is based on Director Bong’s film.
