(G)-IDLE ranked 1st on 35 countries’ ITunes chart

(G)-IDLE proved to be ‘global trend’ through their third mini album ‘I trust’.

According to the agency Cube Entertainment on the 8th, (G)-IDLE’s third mini album ‘I trust’, released on the 6th, has ranked no. 1 on iTunes chart in 35 countries. It includes : Netherlands, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Canada, Thailand, Philippines, Argentina, Brazil, Austria, Indonesia, Turkey, Portugal, Norway and New Zealand. This is the first time they rank first on so many iTunes charts since their debut.

Moreover, the group got on the 1st spot on the k-pop album and k-pop songs charts in the United States, proving their popularity.

The title song of (G)-IDLE “Oh my god” has won first place in domestic music sites such as Bugs, Genie, and Naver Music after release and ranked 4th on Melon and 8th on Soribada as well. The music video itself was released on the 7th also hit 26 million views in one day, setting a new record.

The title song ‘Oh my god’ is a self-composed song by (G)-IDLE’s leader So-yeon, who excelles in writing and composing. The song “Oh my god” is an “Urban Hip-Hop” genre song with a bold rhythmic change.
