The group BTS’ ‘MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR’ is temporarily suspended.

On the afternoon of April 28, their agency Big Hit Entertainment posted a bulletin regarding BTS’ ‘ MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR’ on the community platform Weaverse.

Big Hit Entertainment announced, “We decided to completely re-arrange the schedule of BTS’ world tour concert ‘MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR’. This tour involves the participation of staff and crew from around the world as well as global logistics system. While there are certain countries, regions, and cities where conditions have improved, including Korea, it is difficult to resume the tour right away.”

“Therefore we have made the difficult decision to suspend the previously announced tour schedule and develop a new schedule in the future. We will completely reschedule the tour and provide a new schedule to the fans as soon as it becomes clear when the tour can start. “

“The decision to reschedule the tour was made with the health and safety of our fans and artist in foremost consideration”.

“As long as we have been prepared to show the best performances, we will do our best to appreciate for your patience.”

In the meantime, “It may take a long time depending on the situation of the pandemic, but we will try to meet BTS and fans as soon as possible. In addition, we will strive to fill the gap of artist activity caused by COVID-19 in a new way to follow the era of ‘New Normal’.”

BTS originally planned to begin the ‘MAP OF THE SOUL’ world tour in Seoul on April 11, 12, 18, and 19.
