‘Extracurricular’ to be released today (29th)… To bring up hardship of reality

The drama ‘Extracurricular’ unveils today (29th).

‘Extracurricular’ is an upcoming Netflix’s original K-drama series written by Jin Hansae. The series depicts the process of a high school student who chose the path of crime without guilt to pay for his university tuition fee, and the unpredictable dangers he faces as a result.

The series has been directed by Kim Jin-min, who is known for his work on ‘Lawless Lawyer’ and ‘Time Between Dog and Wolf’

Including Kim Dong-hee, who continues to rise by appearing in the drama “SKY Castle” and “Itaewon Class,” Jung Da-bin starting as a child actor, who has taken a step as an adult performer, Park Joo-hyun and Nam Yun-su, who will be surprising rookies, gathered together.

Four actors who joined the lead role among hundreds of audition applicants, said that they tried to watch the documentary book about the movie to express the difficult characters. The challenge of those united with fresh charm and acting passion is also expected to be a spectator point.

Most of all, ‘Extracurricular’ is about a model schoolboy Jisoo (played by Kim Dong hee) who commits crimes to pay his educational fee, Gyuri (played by Park Joo-hyun) joining Jisoo’s crimes to resist her parents’ expectations, and Min-hee, a school menace, gets involved in their violations. Through the average students who carry out the crime, the drama will sharply portray the bad reality of our society and the dark side of teenagers.

Producer Yoon Shin-ae also said, “I wanted to throw a buzz about the uncomfortable but hardship reality around us with the stories of teenagers who are going to be ruined by the choice that should not be done.”

It is noted that ‘Extracurricular’ that foresees the powerful questions needed in this era can be captured by viewers’ hearts.

‘Extracurricular’ will be available to stream on Netflix on April 29 at 4 pm.
