‘I-LAND’, collaborative project between CJ ENM and Big Hit will premeire in June

The project “I-LAND”, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment, unveiled its first teaser video.

‘I-LAND’ is the first project of ‘BELIFT LAB’, a joint venture established by CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment in March last year. The two companies have established BELIFT LAB to find and foster global K-pop artists, and made headlines as it brought together two entities that have great influence in the music industry.

‘I-LAND’ will be an observation reality show that follows the process of a new generation of K-pop artists being born, and will be broadcast through Mnet in June.

It is expected to be a new concept program that combines CJ ENM’s content production capabilities with CEO Bang Si-hyuk’s Big Hit Entertainment artist producing know-how. In addition to the unique view of the world that was not seen in other audition programs, various forms of collaboration and competition among the participants.

To that end, Mnet has put much work into the preparation process, such as the creation of a 3000 pyeong (approximately 106,750 square feet) complex.

In the teaser video for ‘I-LAND’ released through the official SNS, graphics featuring giant eggs appear as the main theme. Indeed, they are curious about what this means and how it relates to the program.
