The ‘Emergency Declaration’, which has made headlines since the preparatory stage for production, is a disaster film that will tell the story of the unprecedented calamities that arise when an airplane is forced to make an emergency landing.

In addition to the fact that it is the first aviation disaster film in Korea to deliver an overwhelming sense of immersion, it is gaining attention once again by the top actors’ decision to appear. Following the news of Song Gang-ho, Lee Byung-hun and Jeon Doyeon’s appearance, Kim Nam-gil, Im Si-wan, Kim So-jin and Park Hae-joon joined the movie.

Im Si-wan will take on the role of a passenger on the plane who boards the airplane alone. In his debut film, ‘The Attorney,’ he was recognized by the audience for his outstanding performance, and through the ‘The Merciless’, he deepened his acting skills. Expectations are raised by joining his ‘Emergency Declaration’, which has emerged as the next generation actor to lead the film industry.

Song Kang-ho plays the role of a criminal detective investigating the catastrophic aviation incident. The actor has risen to international fame beyond home with ‘Parasite’ which was honored by the Oscar Awards, the Cannes Film Festival’s Golden Palm Awards and the American Actors’ Association (SAG) Ensemble Prize.

Lee Byung-hun, who has been active in Hollywood and Asia, plays a father who has a phobia of planes but boards the airplane for his daughter.

Joen Doyeon, ‘Queen of Canne’, confirmed earlier to appear at the film, is expected to transform into a spectacular role against the emergency and show a new face once again. Kim Nam-gil, who has become a ‘worthy actor to watch’ through his various acting spectrum, plays the vice-captain of the airplane.

In addition, actress Kim So-jin is a flight attendant on the plane, and Park Hae-joon, who currently stars in JTBC’s ‘The World of the Married’, plays the role of head of the Blue House Crisis Management Center trying to solve the emergency of the Blue House.

The film is directed by Han Jaerim, who has worked on the film ‘Rules of Dating’ (2005) and ‘The Show Must Go On’ (2007), ‘The Face Reader’ that was loved by 9 million viewers (2013), ‘The King’ (2017) that attracted the audience with stylish direction and solid story.
