BLACKPINK will make their highly anticipated return to the music scene with a multi-pronged approach starting next month.

YG Entertainment announced on the 18th that “BLACKPINK has finished recording over 10 songs that will make the group’s first full-length album.”

YG explained “BLACKPINK will bring a pre-release buzz track single for which the group has nearly completed preparations for its accompanying music video and stage performances.”

YG added, “A second song is scheduled for early July or August. However, we ask the fans for their understanding that it was difficult to tell the details of this song in advance due to internal circumstances.

BLACKPINK’s first regular album is planned for September.

The label explained, “As we’ve prepared for this album for a long time, we will release contents in three different terms so that BLACKPINK will get opportunity to visit the fans with more contents and performances.”

In order to live up to the expectations of the fans who have been waiting for BLACKPINK, the sketches that YG has carefully drawn so far have been revealed. In addition, active activities of BLACKPINK are expected.

In fact, YG and BLACKPINK are known to have prepared several large global projects this year. The time has been delayed for a while due to the COVID-19 outbreak, but the scale is still overwhelming.

BLACKPINK recently featured the new song ‘Sour Candy’ in the 6th album ‘Chromatica’ of pop star Lady GaGa, which is set for release on May 29 ahead of their comeback. Ariana Grande and Elton John also participated in this album.

The specific information about other new songs or regular albums is still wrapped in a veil, but it is enough to amplify the expectations of global music fans towards BLACKPINK, who gears up for the returning in summer.
