WINNER’s Kang Seung-yoon returns as an actor at MBC’s new drama ‘Kairos’ in three years.

According to YG Entertainment on the 20th, Kang Seung-yoon has confirmed the appearance of MBC’s new mini-series ‘Kairos’ (written by Lee Soo-hyun, directed by Park Seung-woo).

‘Kairos’ is a romantic fantasy thriller about a man named Seojin (played by Shin Sung-rok), who falls in despair after his young daughter is kidnapped, and a woman named Aeri (played by Lee Se-young), who is looking for her missing mother.

The two, who live in the present and one month early respectively, work together to save the tragedies that have befallen them.

Kang Seung-yoon played the role of Ari’s friend Lim Kun-wook, who has no presence throughout the school days, and it is natural to always be in the weakest position. However, Kun-wook does whatever Aeri says and helps her in every crisis, playing a major role in solving the case.

Kang Seung-yoon will show a new look and outstanding acting chemistry with actress Lee Se-young.

Kang Seung-yoon has been showing a wide spectrum of activities along with the group WINNER activities. He has been received a lot of love for his stable acting talents through MBC’s ‘High Kick 3’, web drama ‘Love for a Thousand More’, and tvN’s ‘Prison Playbook’.

Kang Seung-yoon said, “I was hooked as soon as I read the script for ‘Kairos’. I am so excited to be returning as an actor after a long time. I still have a lot to learn, but I’ll do my best not to become a hindrance to those who I am working with. I would appreciate it if you could look upon me kindly.”

‘Kairos’ will be broadcast in the second half of this year.
