Director Yoon Sam-yuk (real name Yoon Tae-young), who wrote the screenplay for the movie ‘The Son of the General’ and directed ‘Alive’, died from his disease at the age of 83.

According to the Korea Scenario Writers Association, director Yoon Sam-yuk passed away on the 2nd. While shooting a drama in 1999, cerebral apoplexy made him faint.

Yoon Sam-yuk, the powerhouse of Korean film history, wrote screenplays such as ‘High School’, ‘Pong’, ‘Film’, ‘Dol-ai’, and ‘Cow seller’, and directed ‘Sparrows and Scarecrows’. received.

He is the eldest son of former Yoon Bong-chun, the late film director and actor during the Japanese colonial period. Actor Yoon So-jung, his younger sister, passed away three years ago due to sepsis.

His funeral will be conducted in Room 14 of the St. Mary’s Funeral Hall in Seoul. On July 4 at 6:50 am, funeral procession will be started, and his burial site is the Anseong Utopia Memorial Hall.
