Senior comedians are giving warmth by voluntarily cut their salaries for their juniors.

According to JTBC’s new entertainment program ‘Genreman Comedy’, senior comedians such as Oh Man-seok, Kim Jun-ho, Yoo Se-yoon, and Ahn Young-mi cut their salaries, saying, “Please let more juniors stand on the stage.”

For comedians, the end of ‘Gag Concert’ means that they lost their main stage. There are no stages to set up, so there are more comedians going to YouTube, and the events and festivals that had been held in the wake of the COVID-19 prolongation have been put on hold.
