At ‘Jang Ye-won’s Cinetown’, Jung Woo-sung expressed his impression of taking the role of president.
On the 20th, SBS Power FM ‘Jang Ye-won’s Cinetown’ starred actor Jung Woo-sung in the movie ‘Steel Rain 2: Summit’.
Jung Woo-sung played ‘the President of the Republic of Korea’ trying to prevent the war on the Korean Peninsula, which became an island of the Cold War due to the interests of the great powers.
Jung Woo-sung described his character as “a lonely president,” and explained, “It is a lonely president because it contains the pity of being a party and a mediator who cannot be a party to the Korean Peninsula.”
In addition, Jung Woo-sung said, “I did not try to impose the weight of loneliness on the audience. There is a look at the negotiating table, and there is a figure that can do nothing and be cautious to prevent emotional disparity between the two.”
Regarding the introduction of Jung Woo-sung as a ‘handsome president’ in another program, “The burden on this role was heavy. “It was hard to explain in detail, so I joked and skipped.”
Meanwhile, ‘Steel Rain 2: Summit’, starring Jung Woo-sung, Kwak Do-won, Yoo Yeon-seok, depicts the crisis just before the war after three leaders were kidnapped by a North Korean nuclear submarine during a North-South American summit. It will be released on the 29th.
