‘Mr. Trot’ Na Tae-Ju won the Minister of Culture and Sports Award on Taekwondo Day

‘Mr. Trot’ Na Tae-ju receives the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award.

Na Tae-ju was selected as the winner of the 2020 Taekwondo Day Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award, announced ahead of Taekwondo Day on the 4th.

Taekwondo Day is a day to commemorate the adoption of Taekwondo as an official Olympic sport at the 103rd IOC General Assembly held in Paris, France on September 4, 1994. This year is the 20th year of the 2000 Sydney Olympics, when Taekwondo was adopted as an official Olympic sport and held.

Na Tae-Ju is from the world’s No. 1 Taekwondo Ranking, and was selected as a Minister of the Minister’s Prize in recognition of his contribution to promoting Taekwondo by actively working as a member of K Tigers. At the time of appearing in ‘Mr. Trot’, it has been evaluated for promoting the beauty of Taekwondo and striving to promote Taekwondo, such as introducing a new genre called ‘Taekwon Trot’.
