In ‘Let’s play football Together’, a match between ‘Somehow FC’ and the idol soccer team made viewers enjoy their Sunday night.

JTBC’s ‘Let’s play football Together’, broadcast on the 6th, recorded an audience rating of 6.3% (based on Nielsen Korea’s metropolitan area paid furniture), up 1.2P from last week, showing an increase for two consecutive weeks. The highest ratings per minute also soared to 8.5%.

On this day’s broadcast, a sparkling soccer match between ‘Somehow FC’, and ‘JTBC’, an idol-based soccer team that challenged to become the 2nd tier of ‘Somehow FC’, was shown. ‘Somehow FC’ thrashed the idol team by 4-1.

In ‘JTBC’, Yoon Doo-joon of Highlight and music producer CODE KUNST, Seo Eun-kwang of BTOB, DinDin, P.O of Block B, Ha Seong-woon, Kim Jae-hwan, Jo Seung-yeon, Jeong Se-woon, and ATEEZ Hongjoong joined the game, drawing viewers’ attention.

In particular, JTBC members made Somehow FC feel nervous, with some of its brilliant players: Code Kunst, the former youth football team player and local amateur football club; Jo Seung-yeon, who learned football in famous professional football club in Brazil; Kim Jae-hwan, known as the Gangseo district version of  Ki Seong-yong; Hongjoong, a goalkeeper.

In addition, Code Kunst showed off his dribbling skills by showing off his own technique,’CoKun Turn’, while perfectly reproducing ‘Anne Turn’ (turning skill) by Ahn Jung-hwan. Ha Sung-woon competed with Mo Tae-bum in a vault, and Jeong Se-woon confronted Lee Dae-hoon and Lee Hyeong-taek in a 3-step jump rope, stimulating legends with overflowing spirit.

Legends were squeezed by the momentum of ‘JTBC’ aiming for the 2nd ‘Somehow FC’, but they came to the ground with tremendous determination, believing in the teamwork they had built up through hard work for a year. With the reality that they can no longer kick the ball together, they reproduced the game power that was in full bloom during the previous tournament.

As the game started, the battle between the two teams was captured and lost throughout the first half. ‘JTBC’ members showed off their personal skills and speed, outpacing the defense of legends. On the other hand, legends in ‘Somehow FC’ showed strong organizational power, showing their value as time passed, and scoring the first goal first.

‘Somehow FC’, which won the first goal with Park Tae-Hwan and cooperation with Mo Tae-bum, added Park Tae-hwan’s wedge goal and Mo Tae-bum’s multi-goal to continue the goal march. In addition, Kim Dong-hyun’s defense, that never missed numerous surprise shots, doubled the excitement. ‘JTBC’ netted with the  goal by fantastic combination play between Yoon Doo-joon and Jo Seung-yeon in the second half, but Code Kunst scored an own goal, and the match ended with 4-1.

With the teamwork and organizational power of the legends who have won the youthful spirit like this, ‘Somehow FC’ secured the club. It was a day full of relief and pleasure for legends and regret for the idol soccer team, but the passion that was second to none as much as the love of football was delivered to the viewers of the home intuition, giving them warmth.

On the other hand, in next week’s broadcast, Yang Hak-seon, a gold medalist in gymnastics at the 2012 London Olympics, will challenge the place of the gymnastics legend Yeo Hong-cheol of ‘Somehow FC’. The special match between the two gymnastic legends from generation to generation will be unveiled at JTBC’s ‘Let’s play football Together’ at 7:40 pm on the 13th next Sunday.
