The 22nd Seoul International Women’s Film Festival will convert events such as the opening ceremony online in line with the spread of Covid-19.

The festival officially announced on the 7th, and the opening ceremony was held with a congratulatory performance by musician Seon Woo Jung-ah, the Voice of the Year (winner: Chariot Fireworks, musician Slick) and Park Nam-ok award (winner: ’69-year-old director Lim Sun-ae)’ awards ceremony, and 50 teams of female filmmakers. It was revealed that the introduction of the opening work made together by the group will continue.

Regardless of the size, the theater will only accommodate audiences less than 50, and is operated with sufficient distance and reserved seating system. During the entire film festival, a professional quarantine company disinfects screening halls four times a day, and in the case of audience contact spaces such as theater lobby, corridor, and restroom, once a day.

Star talk conducted by director Byun Young-joo and actress Kim A-joong will be broadcast live without audience, and other programs have been pre-recorded in preparation for the Covid-19 situation.

In the case of spectators, it is a basic principle to check the QR code electronic access list according to the route from the entrance of the theater where the body sterilizer is installed to the entrance to the theater, and measure the body temperature at least twice.

The program event video (excluding GV, issue forum, and special talk) can be found on Naver TV ‘Seoul International Women’s Film Festival SIWFF’ and the official YouTube.
