The Ministry of Justice decided to seek a nomination for actress Yoon Ji-oh, who was surrounded by suspicion of sponsorship fraud.

According to the response data recently received from the Ministry of Justice by Rep. Cho Soo-jin (the Power of the People Party), the Ministry of Justice has been wanted for nomination because the whereabouts of Yoon Ji-oh is unknown.

According to the answer, the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office suspended the prosecution on May 11 on the grounds of Yoon Ji-oh’s overseas departure. The Ministry of Justice said, “Since the whereabouts of Yoon Ji-oh is unknown, he has been issued an arrest warrant and has been wanted for a nomination.”

However, until recently, Yoon Ji-oh continued to inform social media about her birthday parties. On the 8th, a video of a birthday party, which is believed to have been taken at a hotel in Toronto, Canada, was also uploaded, and the Ministry of Justice explained that the location was unknown.

After leaving Korea in April of last year as a reporter of the late Jang Ja-yeon case and being caught up in suspicion of fraudulent donation, he has not yet returned.

The police asked for attendance several times through phone calls and Kakao Talk to Yoon Ji-oh, but Yoon Ji-oh refused to attend, saying,’There is no entry plan.’ The police said, “We will continue to investigate according to the usual procedures.”
