Big Hit Entertainment, the agency of the group BTS, has entered the KOSPI with great popularity, and is maintaining the upward trend thanks to the rumors of the billboards of BTS.
Big Hit Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as ‘Big Hit’) debuted in the securities market by holding a listing ceremony at the Korea Exchange in Yeouido, Seoul on the morning of the 15th of the day of listing. Chairman Bang Si-hyuk of Big Hit said, “We will achieve continuous growth in the direction of continually challenging and innovating, and we will make sure that companies, artists, consumers, and industries all co-exist. We will do our best from various perspectives and vigorously go forward with global entertainment.”
On this day, the initial price of Big Hit was decided at 270,000 won, and the market started with 351,000 won. Big Hit recorded a high price right after its opening, but it was actively selling for only an hour and trading at 293,000 won, up 8.52% from the initial price at 11:20 am.
However, as it is certain that BTS, the representative artist of Big Hit, will deliver two crowns at the ‘2020 Billboard Music Awards’, the trend of Big Hit’s stock price on the day of listing is on the brink.
