Actor Yeo Jin-gu made a special voice appearance with artificial intelligence in ‘Startup’.

tvN Saturday and Sunday drama ‘Startup’ (screenplay Park Hye-ryeon, director Oh Choong-hwan, planning studio dragon, production high story) is a drama that depicts the start and growth of young people who jumped into startups dreaming of success in Silicon Valley, Korea.

While the strong acting chemistry of Bae Suzy (Seo Dal-mi), Nam Joo-hyuk (Nam Do-san), Kim Sun-ho (Han Ji-pyeong), and Kang Han-na (Won In-jae) captivated viewers, another youth star Yeo Jin-gu appeared as a tympanic stealer. His voice appeared in the voice of Jang Young-sil, an AI (artificial intelligence) speaker of Jihyunjeon Tech, Han Ji-pyeong’s company that is considering investment (played by Kim Sun-ho).

In the drama, Yeo Jin-gu boasted a unique presence. In episode 1, when Han Ji-pyeong asked the weather of the day, the AI caused laughter by answering the fortune of the day. With a meaningful answer, it seemed to imply the reunion between Seo Dal-mi (Bae Suzy) and Han Ji-pyeong, which made the ears sharp.

In the second episode, Han Ji-pyeong sang a song with the lyrics ‘Make it up’ and sang laughter with a wonderful selection. “Hey! I’ll listen to this kind of affection.” Like the smile of Han Ji-pyeong holding both hands and feet, the AI Jang Young-sil, added with Yeo Jin-gu’s passionate character (?), penetrated the hearts of viewers.

Most of all, it was because Yeo Jin-gu’s power was behind the creation of great performance with Kim Sun-ho by attracting viewers only with his voice. Like the AI around the world, the tone and pitch of the voice were adjusted to naturally melt into the play and were enough to add immersion.

The production crew of ‘Startup’ said, “I would like to thank actor Yeo Jin-gu for his willingness to support director Oh Choong-hwan and his relationship during ‘Hotel Del Luna’. It seems to have become a more enjoyable viewing point thanks to the well kept secret. It seems like it is always the same answer in the drama, but if you listen to Jang Young-sil, who will give a meaningful answer, you will find another fun.”

Meanwhile, tvN’s Saturday and Sunday drama ‘Startup’ is aired every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM.
