Netflix’s original series ‘Kingdom’ season 2 was honored with three categories at the 2nd Asia Contents Awards.

The Netflix original series ‘Kingdom’ Season 2, which depicts the bloody struggles of the Joseon Dynasty, who are in danger of becoming a living hell after the dead, and the greed of the family of Jo who covets the kingship and the death of the Crown Prince’s creativity, who has become unbelievable, won three crowns at the 2nd Asia Contents Awards. The Asia Contents Awards, newly established in 2019 and celebrating its second year this year, is an awards ceremony for excellent content across Asia. This year, 75 films representing each country from 17 countries were submitted, and a total of 10 categories and 11 awards were awarded after preliminary and genuine evaluation. In the awards ceremony held online on the official YouTube channel of the Busan International Film Festival, Season 2 was the Male Actor Award. He won the honor of receiving awards in a total of three categories, including Joo Ji-hoon, Artist Kim Eun-hee, and Mad Man Post (VFX) at Technology Award.

Actor Joo Ji-hoon, writer Kim Eun-hee, and Madman Post’s team leader Ryu Gun-hee shared their impressions of the award through real-time video connection. Joo Ji-hoon said, “Thank you to Netflix, director Kim Seong-hoon, director Park In-je, author Kim Eun-hee, and numerous fellow actors and production crew who made ‘Kingdom’. “I am grateful for giving me this good news during the filming of my next work, and I will make it easier to find better work.”

Writer Kim Eun-hee said, “Thanks to Netflix, Kim Seong-hoon, and Park In-je, who have been with us for over 3 years.
