2NE1 singer CL has left a large agency and made an announcement about her solo activity.
CL, which released double singles ‘HWA’ and ‘5STAR’ at 1 pm on the 29th, held an online press conference at 2 pm on the same day, and announced their comeback meeting and resolution of activities.
CL’s comeback was 10 months after the project album ‘In the Name of Love’ released in December last year. It is a comeback that announces a full-fledged start after leaving the former agency YG Entertainment.
CL replied, “A lot of things are different. I learned that a lot of people have invested a lot of time and energy to learn that it was done with a lot of time and energy.”
CL said, “I’m so grateful to learn that. Because I wanted to form a team alone because I wanted to learn what I was doing. I wanted to know what was made and how. I didn’t know. I didn’t know. I thought I wanted to learn more than obscuring. There was a lot to do.”
She added, “I don’t have a new agency right now, but I have formed my team so that I can move freely.”
CL will first unveil the stage of the new song ‘HWA’ through ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’. This stage of CL is receiving high attention as it is a new stage that has been unveiled two years after the closing ceremony of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
Starting with this new song, CL plans to actively engage in online and offline activities.
