CEO Kim Jae-yeon of ‘Jungyukgak’, an online butcher shop’s online store, appeared on ‘Yoo Quiz on the Block’ and told the success story.

The TVN entertainment program ‘Yoo Quiz on the Block’, which aired on the 28th, was decorated with a special feature of ‘Delicious Guys’, and CEO Kim Jae-yeon said that after graduation from KAIST, he was planning to study abroad while receiving a scholarship from the US State Department, but gave up because of pork.

CEO Kim revealed that the pork tour he left before going to study in the United States was the starting point of his life business. “I had a business plan to sell meat that had been slaughtered for three months.” He said, “I tried to sell the meat by paying the rent in advance, but after two weeks, there were too many orders to fill the order even if I cut the meat all day.”

Accordingly, he decided to give up the opportunity to study abroad after extending the rental of the building for another three months. He said, “It was my first time back then, but now my parents also like it. It has been about 4 years since the factory has been operating and annual sales are about 20 billion.”

Regarding how to grill pork belly deliciously, CEO Kim said, “The thickness of the meat should be about 2.4mm, and the frying pan should be heated and placed. Then it looks like it’s caramelized, but it’s delicious if you bake the side once and eat it.”
