Singer Sean runs a donation marathon for multicultural youth education.

Sean and In Soon-yi will host the ‘2020 Miracle 365 Virtual Harmony Run’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Harmony Run’), a non-face-to-face virtual marathon competition.

‘Harmony Run’ will be a contactless marathon due to the COVID-19. Participants can choose from 3km, 5km, 10km, and 21km from the 7th to the 17th, run at their desired time and place, and then authenticate through personal SNS.

The full amount of the ‘Harmony Run’ participation fee is used to support Haemil School, a multicultural educational institution. Haemil School is an alternative school established by In Soon-yi in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do in 2013 for multicultural youth.

Haemil School, which is the eighth year since its opening this year, was recognized as a model school for multicultural education and was recognized by the Gangwon-do Office of Education in 2017. However, the accreditation by the Gangwon-do Office of Education does not include financial support.

Accordingly, it is operated with donations from various sponsors including In Soon-yi, but a lot of attention and support are needed to prevent the educational activities of children and youth from multicultural families from shrinking due to COVID-19. Application for participation in this regard is accepted by the 13th.

Sean invites only 30 of the participants with In Soon at Haemil School on the 9th at 2 pm to hold a very special performance. Event events (lottery draws, 5km run) are also held. The event will be broadcast live on YouTube.

Sean is taking the lead in the culture of endless donation with ‘Good Running’. He is continuing a good move by conducting ‘Miracle 365 Virtual Run’ and ‘Virtual Charity Run’. In particular, on August 15 this year, 815 Virtual Run was held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Liberation Day, and a donation of 320 million won was donated to the descendants of independence merit.

Meanwhile, Sean and Jeong Hye-young are currently supporting over 400 children around the world. Next year, it is preparing for the construction of the first Lou Gehrig Nursing Hospital in Korea. Until now, donations have exceeded 500 million won.
