Boy band Supernova members went to the talk once again with gambling.

On the 25th, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Metropolitan Police Agency announced that it is investigating charges of illegal online gambling of about 100 people, including supernova members.

The police explained that even though the gambling site participants only selected the case of betting large amounts, more than 100 people were investigated. It is reported that actors and gangs were also caught as gambling actors during the investigation.

In particular, one of Supernova members is known to have participated in the so-called ‘avatar gambling’. Avatar gambling is operated in such a way that overseas local casinos show the gambling venue live, and domestic participants designate the person on the site as a so-called ‘avatar’ and then instruct whether to place a bet.

In September, after being accused of gambling baccarat with a stake of 7 to 50 million won at a local casino in the Philippines from 2016 to 2018, supernova members Yoon-hak and Seong-je said, “A careless behavior during travel I am deeply regretting and reflecting on the fact that I did it.”

However, as the suspicion of online gambling has been revealed following away gambling, netizens are receiving a stinging attention.

Meanwhile, Supernova, who debuted in 2007, made its name public with songs such as ‘Hit’ and ‘On a Nostalgic Day’, and was especially loved for the band’s collaborative song ‘TTL’ with T-ara. Since 2018, the group has been active in Asia.
