A special chicken restaurant where the chef catches and cooks chickens when customers order was found.
A chicken restaurant in Chungju, Chungcheongbuk-do was introduced at the Friday Taste Detective Corner of the SBS liberal arts program ‘Morning Wide Part 3’broadcast on the 27th.
On this day, taste detective Kim Jae-wook, visiting a restaurant, raised expectations by saying, “It hasn’t been shown on the air yet. It’s a place that only people who know it. It will be released for the first time on broadcast today.”
The place Kim Jae-wook visited was a small village in Chungju. Kim Jae-wook went into an old store saying, “This is the place a camera director found.” 33 years since opening. The restaurant, which was filled with two tables, sold only three kinds of raw chicken, whole chicken and seasoned whole chicken.
Kim Jae-wook said, “This house has one really special thing. It catches chickens immediately after ordering.” When Kim Jae-wook ordered the whole chicken, the boss went to the poultry farm located behind the store. Kim Jae-wook expressed his excitement, saying, “This is the specialty of this house. It takes some time to order.” As it is fresh, it does not require a separate curing process.
When the chicken came out, Kim Jae-wook said, “It contains all of the chicken. Chicken feet, chicken gizzard… It’s fresh, so the bones and flesh are well separated, and everything is delicious. The chicken breast is also moist.”
