‘New Year Blues’ Youn-Seok revealed that he learned tango with Lee Yeon-hee, ahead of filming in Argentina.
On the morning of the 1st, an online production report for the movie ‘New Year Blues’ was held. Due to the aftermath of the COVID-19, the production briefing was conducted live online, with director Ji-young Hong and actor Kim Kang-woo, Yoo Yeon-seok, Lee Yeon-hee, Lee Dong-hui, Yeom Hye-ran, Choi Soo-young and Yoo Tae-oh.
Yoo Yeon-seok and Lee Yeon-hee portrayed the fresh feelings of youth that bloom in the midst of growing pains amid worries about the future. Yoo Yeon-seok said, Argentina is famous for tanco and wine. There is a scene where Jin-ah (Lee Yeon-hee) wears a red dress and dances tango.”
He went on to say, “It’s not good enough, but I practiced tango for about a month, and I practiced while learning from tango dancers in Argentina,” and showed a tango demonstration with Lee Yeon-hee on the spot.
‘New Year Blues’ is a movie about a week full of fear and excitement of four couples who want to be happier in the new year after the off-season of their lives. Scheduled to be released in December.
