Netflix’s original series ‘Kingdom’ Season 2 was selected as the Top 10 Best International TV Show by The New York Times. It is the second consecutive year following the previous season.
The film is a zombie-based drama that depicts the bloody struggles of the Joseon Dynasty, where the dead survived and became a living hell, the greed of the king’s family who covets the kingship and the bloody struggle of the Crown Prince’s creativity, who became unbelievable.
The New York Times praised ‘Kingdom’ as “a work that brought Korea at the forefront of the genre of action zombies, with a fast-paced monster and court armament added.”
Earlier, with the first release of Season 1, a video maze filled with fresh materials, powerful spectacles, and Korean scenery, it sparked a world-class ‘God Frenzy’, followed by Season 2, which was compared to ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘The Walking Dead’. The K-Zombie Syndrome is lit up once again.
Meanwhile, the tvN drama ‘Psycho, but it’s okay’, which met viewers around the world through Netflix, was also on the TOP 10 list side by side, receiving favorable reviews as “a variation of a romantic comedy made by Korean drama makers like wizards.”
