Actress Han Ye-ri digested the video chat (GV) schedule ahead of the release of the movie ‘Minari’ in North America.
According to the management company Saram Entertainment on the 11th, ‘Minari’ is being released in limited releases at some theaters in New York and Los Angeles. The invitational preview and GV are being conducted.
‘Minari’ is being mentioned as a leading invitation to the American Academy Awards next year, and the Oscar campaign was started.
Han Ye-ri chatted with local officials through the GV that led to the video. Sharon Choi, well-known locally as the interpreter of director Bong Joon-ho of ‘Parasite’, served as the interpreter.
Starting with four successful GV schedules, ‘Minari’ accelerated its release in North America, and all tickets sold online are reportedly sold out.
Han Ye-ri said, “I was able to see my family and neighbors relying on each other and trying to overcome difficult situations in this difficult time around the world.” “’Minari’ also conveys the meaning of a solid family that cannot live alone. I hope to see ‘Minari’ and get comfort and strength.’
‘Minari’, which contains the autobiographical story of director Jeong Isaak, a Korean-American, is attracting attention as it is selected as an Oscar nominee for 2021 predicted by Variety. In Korea, it is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2021.
