‘Luca’ Kim Rae-won announced a pursuit action that he had never seen before.

‘Luca: The Beginning’ (screenplay Cheon Sung-il, director Kim Hong-seon), opening the door to tvN’s Monday and Tuesday drama in 2021, first unveiled two teaser posters that overwhelm the eye on the 28th. The transformation of Kim Rae-won, who plays the role of ‘Ji-oh’, that hides the ability to change the world, and explodes the action instinct beyond the limits, is eagerly expected.

‘Luca: The Beginning’ is a spectacle chase action against the world, with Ji-oh (played by Kim Rae-won), who is chased by his special ability, with the only homicide detective cloud (played by Lee Da-hee) who remembers him. Director Kim Hong-seon, who has led the evolution of the genre by building an unrivaled worldview such as the drama ‘The Slave Hunters’, and the film ‘Pirates’ and ‘7th Grade Civil Servant’, will collaborate and guarantee completion. It draws attention to what kind of sensation the pursuit action that the masters of the genre will create.

In the teaser poster that was unveiled on 28th, Kim Rae-won overwhelms the atmosphere with only his eyes. Deep, mysterious eyes with blue light catch the viewers’ gaze at once. Ji-oh’s loneliness and secret atmosphere, born strong and thrown into the world alone, are captured in one cut, setting fire to anticipation. Another poster released together makes the spectacle chase action more exciting. Ji-oh is surrounded by unknown people and emits a ‘dark’ aura. The phrase ‘action beyond the limit begins’ added above it stimulates curiosity.

Ji-oh is going to pursue a fierce pursuit with unidentified people who are constantly pursuing him because of his special ‘abilities’ and ‘secrets’ that are not in the world. I am already curious about what Ji-oh’s abilities and secrets will be. Kim Rae-won is an excellent casting in constructing the original worldview of ‘Luca: The Beginning’. From fantasy to melodies to genre, Kim Rae-won’s performance had no boundaries and limits. His own firm color and acting that penetrates deep into the character are expected to add strength to the expansion of the worldview of ‘Luca: The Beginning’.

Above all, the spirit of the ‘Genre’ optimization dream team also sparked a topic. Director Kim Hong-seon opened a new genre of Korean exorcism drama by combining exorcism and shamanism in a sound pursuit thriller through ‘Voice 1’and ‘Hand the Guest’. The challenge of director Kim Hong-seon, who has expanded the appearance of the genre with novelty that no one has tried, adds synergy from actors such as Kim Rae-won, Lee Da-hee, Kim Seong-oh, Kim Sang-ho, Park Hyuk-kwon, Ahn Nae-sang, and Jin Gyeong, taking the point of perfection.

The production crew of ‘Luca’ said, “Opening a new world of genre by showing an original worldview that has never been dealt with. It will be a new leap forward for the tvN genre. Please look forward to the pursuit action beyond the limits that the irreplaceable actor Kim Rae-won and the genre masters will be born together.”

On the other hand, tvN’s new Monday and Tuesday drama ‘Luca: The Beginning’ will be broadcast for the first time at 9 pm on Monday, February 1, 2021.
