Big Hit Japan, a Japanese subsidiary of Big Hit Entertainment, is launching the ‘Big Hit Japan Global Debut Project’ that will create an artist who will be active on the global stage based in Japan.
‘Big Hit Japan Global Debut Project’ will be fully supported by a mentor group composed of experts in each field under the systematic fostering system of Big Hit Japan. Mentors include Bang Si-hyuk, chairman of Big Hit Entertainment, music producer Podok, performance director Son Seong-deuk, performance director Sakura Inoue, and music producer and sound director Soma Genda. In addition, composer and music producer Ryosuke Imai and music producer UTA also joined as special advisors to add strength to the project.
The first runners of ‘Big Hit Japan Global Debut Project’ are K, Nicholas, EJ, KYUNGMIN, and Taki, which are growing day by day through Mnet ‘I-LAND’. Additional members who will be active in the group with them are selected through the new audition ‘&AUDITION’ and are scheduled to debut this year.
Kay, Nicholas, EJ, Kyungmin, and Taki through their agency Big Hit Japan, said, “We will debut in Big Hit Japan with a member newly decided through an audition. We are looking forward to seeing which member we will be working with.”
The registration period for ‘&Audition’ is from January 1 to 17, after which the final member is decided after examination. Details can be found on the Big Hit Japan audition homepage and social media.
