Yoo Ah-in “I’m hurt and hurt, and I’m sorry for my colleagues leaving the world”

[Reporter Yang So-young on the Daily Economy Star Today]

Actor Yoo Ah-in revealed his honest inner side.

On the 8th, Yoo Ah-in posted some of the interview with the fashion magazine Bazaar China on SNS.

When asked, “As a public figure, I am constrained by a lot of words and actions. How do I think?”, he said “I am accurately aware of what I should do and where I should go. Maybe there is nothing else. My actions will be praised or criticized by someone, but those things are not the purpose of my actions.”

He also said, “There are times when I don’t know how to put my body to the excessive praise of those in need of idols, and sometimes I’m being dragged around by the annoying tricksters, but I’m not there. Being there is close to the illusion created by me and those who like to play with me. All of those things are like games. And it’s the screen where that happens. If I turn it off, isn’t it?”

In the meantime, Yoo Ah-in said, “I am more conscious of the vast majority of the public who do not make a left-hand sound. And it makes sounds, imagining, anticipating, and imagining the moment of real and harmonious change that can be made with the people who make up all. On the screen, on the stage, on the street. What is real? Anyway, all of these are my performances that I draw on the screen while sensing real and long-term changes that can be made through communication and expression. I closely observe how my actions are understood and applied differently to a variety of people, and converge them to draw the following.”

Yoo Ah-in said, “I hope that celebrities floating online like NPCs will boldly act from a broader perspective and find their own ways that they can not be bothered with. So the words got longer. I am very sorry for my colleagues who are hurt, hurt, and even die, and I wish they could continue their shows independently. I just hope that the lives of the individual and the individual who existed will not lose to some kind of show or game. I hope you will also win.”

Yoo Ah-in recently appeared in the movie ‘Voice of Silence’. He is appearing in the movie ‘The Match’ to be released this year and in the Netflix series ‘Hell’ by director Yeon Sang-ho.

The following is a full text posted by Yoo Ah-in on social media.

5.4 In this work, the character Tae-in has no lines and most of them express emotions with facial expressions or hand gestures, but he is a character who abandons language or daily life rules and thinks that expression is meaningless. Then, is it usually similar to Tae-in or opposite? Was it difficult or easy when you played the character Tae-in? Do you usually talk a lot? What do you think about the need for language?

The words are getting less and less. As I get older, the contradictions and ethical flaws in my words become clearer for myself. I want to become a person who knows how to spit a rare language amid the catastrophic flood of words and writings that appear and disappear so easily without any responsibility, and there is a desire to sublimate my life and myself into the form of appropriate language.

5.5 As a public figure, I have a lot of restrictions on my words and actions. What do you think? What do you think of freedom of speech and freedom of expression? When you make a sound, you sometimes get a criticism or an annoying situation. How do you measure it?

I know exactly what I need to do and where I should go. Maybe nothing else. My actions will be praised or criticized by someone, but they are not the purpose of my actions. There are times when I don’t know where to put my body to the excessive praise of those who need idols, or sometimes I am dragged around by the annoying scammers, but I am not there. Being there is close to the illusion created by me and those who like to play with me. All those things are like games. And it’s the screen where that happens, isn’t it just that if you turn it off? I am more conscious of the vast majority of people who do not make a left-hand sound. I closely observe how my actions are understood and applied differently to a variety of people, and converge them to draw the following. I hope that celebrities floating online like NPCs will boldly act from a broader perspective and find their own way that they can’t be bothersome. So the words got longer. I am so sorry for my colleagues who are hurt, hurt, and even die, and I wish they could continue their show independently. I just hope that the lives of real individuals and individuals will not be defeated by some kind of show or game. I wish you victory too!

5.6 Increased 15kg for the work and likes to share the truest self on social media, but most people pursue the standard of unique beauty such as undisturbed face, strictly controlled weight, etc. in Korea, Asia or around the world. What do you think of this aesthetic sense and standard? How to get out of this stereotype?

5.7 The standards for beauty vary from person to person and there are no fixed limits. What does Yoo Ah-in think about the diversity of beauty? Is he a person of deep inclusion?

I would like to share the answers to the two questions above. Only the uncertainty of conviction is certain. I think so. The same goes for beauty. There is something I would like to say to people who live in a hazy world where I look after the skin pores I took without a filter. In fact, I would like to use the acting methodological approach to this. An idea is an idea. There is no way out. Therefore, it is important to find or draw other ideas. We change in the process of waking ourselves up or waking others up. Maybe it only grows. I also have ideas that are infused and innate. There is something that feels safe or an answer to take some judgment. Turning your back on thoroughly tailored rules and order, you throw yourself into the possibility of becoming a different person. When there is conviction, sincerity, and continuous effort, a new balance emerges. If we can detect all beings and forms woven in an incalculable causal relationship, and if we can respect them, there is no reason not to accept all diversity. In the process, there are times when the world feels violent, and there are times when I struggle with my intolerance, but such efforts are most closely related to my freedom. So I can’t give up.
