MLD Entertainment, the agency of the group Momoland, made a statement regarding the illegal composite photo of her artist Nancy.
MLD Entertainment issued an official statement on the 15th and said, “We recently told online and social media that we are taking strong legal action against the distribution of illegally manipulated photos related to our artist Nancy.” “We are actively cooperating with the investigation of the cybercrime. We plan to punish both the first and second distributors, including illegal photographers, in civil and criminal penalties without any consensus.
The agency said, “To protect our artists, we will make every effort to prevent further damage through active investigations and self-monitoring. If fans find illegal posts, we will capture the publisher’s account and I would appreciate it if you could report it to MLD Entertainment in a format.”
The agency emphasized, “I am grateful to the fans who always love and support our artists, and we will continue to do our best to protect the personalities and rights of the artists.”
At the ‘2019 AAA in Vietnam’ awards ceremony held in 2019, centered on the online community, a photo of Nancy’s waiting room, who saw the MC, was illegally photographed and manipulated. The situation in which Nancy, who was exposed to illegal shooting crime, is suffering a great deal of damage, caused fans’ concern. The agency MLD Entertainment and Asia Artist Awards (hereinafter referred to as AAA) suggested a strong legal response.
