Actor Kim Kang-woo succeeded in disassembling and transforming into a detective with a perm hair Heo Dang gang.

Kim Kang-woo said at a press conference held after the press premiere of the movie ‘New Year Blues’ (director Hong Ji-young) held at the entrance of Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on February 1, “I tried to give the feeling of an uncle living next door with a curly perm hairstyle.”

“The director wanted to change my character. He said, ‘I hope you have curly hair’.”

He explained, “If you are a gangster detective, you have a strong sense of professionalism, but my role is a man who hasn’t seen much in the fourth year of divorce. I curled my hair because I wanted to see something different.”

The movie ‘New Year Blues’, which will be released on the 10th, is a work of a week full of fear and excitement of four couples who want to become happier in the new year after the off-season of their lives.
