Former volleyball player Kim Yo-han showed satisfaction in becoming an athlete rather than a model.
Kim Yo-han appeared as a guest in the SBS Love FM ‘Heo Ji-woong Show’ corner ‘I Live for This’ that aired on the 3rd.
On this day, DJ Heo Ji-woong asked, “You’re pretty handsome. What’s the reason for becoming an athlete instead of a model?” Kim Yo-han said, “Since I was a child, I loved sports, and my dream was an athlete. It’s a case where my dreams come true.” Satisfied with the choice.
Heo Ji-woong asked again, “I think I would have received a lot of model recommendations,” Kim Yo-han said, “I was invited, but I was not under pressure because I was in a certain position as an athlete. At the time, I did a little bit of model work with the concept of a part-time job.”
When asked, “How tall are you?” you say, “It was originally 201cm, but when I retired and measured it, it was 200cm. It was a little less. Volleyball players are so tall that I can’t feel it, but because the front seat has changed, I’m on a bigger side among players. Heo Ji-woong’s surprise.
“When I was young, I didn’t get any attention from my appearance. I wasn’t popular because I was dark and the features were too clear. I was teased because my skin was black. There was also a nickname of ‘Black Joe’.”
Meanwhile, Kim Yo-han made his debut at LIG Non-life Insurance (now KB Insurance) in 2007 and retired from OK Savings Bank in 2019. He contributed to the Korean representative’s gold medal at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha and received special benefits for military service. After retirement, he appeared on various entertainment programs such as JTBC’s ‘Play Football Together’ and attracted attention.
