‘Minary’ nominated for 8 categories of the British Academy Film Awards 1st nomination [Official]

The movie ‘Minari’ was named in eight categories at the first nomination announcement at the British Academy Film Awards.

‘Minari’ (director Jeong Isaac) was awarded the Director’s Award (Jeong Isaac), Screenplay Award (Jeong Isaac), Best Actor Award (Steven Yeon), and Fox He was named in eight categories including the Best Supporting Actor (Yoon Yeo-jung), Best Supporting Actor (Alan Kim), Music Award, Casting Award, and Foreign Language Film Award.

The final candidates will be announced on March 11th. The awards ceremony will be held on April 11.

Previously, last year, director Bong Joon-ho’s ‘Parasite’ won the Best Screenplay Award and the Foreign Language Film Award in four categories: Best Works, Director, Screenplay, and Foreign Film Awards.

Meanwhile, ‘Minari’ was nominated for Foreign Language Film Awards at the 78th Golden Globe Awards, Ensemble Award, Best Actor Award, and Supporting Actress Award at the 27th American Actors Guild Awards (SAG).

This work is about a warm and special story of a Korean family who chose to immigrate to an unfamiliar American land in search of hope. Released in Korea in March.
