The group BTS (BTS) humbly said, “We were lucky” about its musical performance, including topping the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

U.S. music media Billboard reported on the 8th (local time) that BTS appeared in the interview section of Apple Music’s “Essential” hosted by New Zealand-born DJ Jane Lowe.

When asked what he thought of the reputation BTS’s musical success brought, leader RM reportedly said, “We are one of the luckiest people to hold a concert at a large stadium and win the Billboard Hot 100.”

“At least there are six people next to me who understand each other,” he said. “I’m really grateful that I have these six colleagues,” showing his affection for the members.

In response, Jane Lowe said, “My son, who can’t speak Korean, played me a song in Korean in the car,” and pointed out the global popularity of BTS, “BTS has revolutionized pop, and the world is listening to your music.”
